Welcome back to what promises to be a very busy term!
The girls from the choir have already performed – in the Oude Kerk on Friday 12th January, as part of the Rietveld Academy’s art show based around sound. They were fantastic and we were incredibly proud of them. We hope to have a copy of the video to show you in the near future, so keep checking this site.
KS3 & 4 are starting work on their production of ‘Oh What a Lovely War’, to be performed in the Senior School towards the end of March. I’m very impressed with those pupils who have already learnt some of their words.
KS2 are hoping to get permission to perform ‘The Adventures of Mr Toad’ in the Summer term. We’ll keep you informed on the progress of our application.
Advanced Music, Senior Choir and Band all start this coming week. There will also be recorders on a Wednesday lunchtime and a Friday lunchtime for those who were attending last term. If you would like to join an existing group, or start to learn the recorder, please come to see me.
